Softchoice is hiring two (yes two!) contract roles to our digital marketing team. Specifically, we’re looking for a Database Marketing Coordinator, and a Digital Marketing Coordinator.

Job Number 1: Marketing Database Coordinator

Every day, Softchoice helps clients choose the right technology solutions to drive their business outcomes. As a Marketing Database Coordinator at Softchoice, you’re responsible for leveraging our customer data sources to power all our digital marketing activities.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Marketing Database Lead to build effective marketing lists that create leads for our sales organization. Sometimes, that means crafting large, complex lists based on behavioral data across multiple buying categories. Other times, you’re creating smaller one-off campaigns with more basic list requirements. In both scenarios, through your value-add service, you’re helping our marketing team connect with the right customers at the right time.
You’ll know you’re successful in this role when the marketing lists you create are driving increased conversion rates. And you’ll know you’re really successful in the role when our marketing and sales folks knock down your door, demanding you do more great work!
We’re looking for someone who’s able to:
- Manipulate data across a broad set of tools, including SAP Business Objects, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, MS Excel and MS Access
- Upload and import defect-free data from 3rd-party sources into systems like Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Create and maintain data dashboards in Microsoft Dynamics CRM
As our ideal candidate, you’ll also have:
- Post-secondary degree (Database marketing/technology discipline preferred)
- Minimum 1-year of work experience (ideally in marketing or advertising function)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SalesForce.com or ideally Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus
- Experience with list management/deployment services an asset
- Superior attention to detail
- Experience with SPSS, or other data analysis tools a plus
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent communications skills (verbal & written)
- Takes initiative to problems solve and works well independently

Job Number 2: Digital Marketing Coordinator

Every day, Softchoice helps clients choose the right technology solutions to drive their business outcomes. As a Digital Marketing Coordinator at Softchoice, you’ll contribute to a broad range of digital marketing activities in the Softchoice Corporate Marketing department.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Campaign Design Specialist to build and deploy digital marketing campaigns that create leads for our sales organization. Sometimes, that means crafting large, complex nurture campaigns with our marketing automation platform. Other times, you’re creating smaller one-off email campaigns that require minimal customization. In both scenarios, through your value-add service, you’re helping our marketing team connect with the right customers with the right message.
You’ll know you’re successful in this role when the digital marketing campaigns you deploy drive increased traffic and conversion rates. And you’ll know you’re really successful when our marketing and sales folks knock down your door, demanding you do more great work!
We’re looking for someone who’s able to:
- Assist with the design and production of marketing emails, newsletters, event registration forms and marketing landing pages
- Set up and deploy email nurture marketing programs through our marketing automation platform
- Set up and host Softchoice-led client webinars
- Perform campaign and tactic performance reporting and analysis
As our ideal candidate, you’ll also have:
- Post-secondary degree (Marketing/technology discipline preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of work experience (ideally in marketing or advertising function)
- Strong understanding of HTML
- Experience with SalesForce.com or Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus
- Experience with marketing automation platforms like Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot or Sales Fusion a big plus
- Strong customer service orientation
- Effective time management, documentation and organizational skills
- Excellent communications skills (verbal & written)
- Superior attention to detail
- Experience with list management/deployment services an asset
- Takes initiative to solve problems – and isn’t afraid of ambiguity
- Working knowledge of design software (Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, or similar)
